Parish Mass & CCD Schedule Changes
Following diocesan guidelines regarding the scheduling of Masses, there is only need for two Sunday morning Masses here in our parish.

Based on parishioner responses collected the weekend of September 24/25, 2016,
effective January 8, 2017, the weekend Mass schedule for the Parish of St. John the Baptist will be:
  • Saturdays at 5:30PM
  • Sundays at 8:30AM and 11:00AM
In addition, Faith Formation Classes (or CCD) for kindergarten through 8th grade will begin at 9:30AM and conclude at 10:45AM.

Changing the Mass schedule is never easy; not everyone will be happy with the decision. It will mean some adjustments for all involved. But it must be realized that, as a parish family, we need to act for the well-being of our entire parish. The spirit of prayerful thought and understanding, cooperation and support as well as God's grace are needed as we, the
Parish Community of St. John the Baptist continue to 'prepare the way of the Lord'. May God bless us all with as much.

Offertory Procession Participants
Anyone wanting to carry up the offertory gifts at a Mass celebrated for the intention of a family member or friend, please speak with one of the ushers about it prior to the start of Mass. Thank you in advance for your cooperation.

CCD Schedule Information
