Care & Concern

Our parish Care & Concern apostolate is dedicated to serving members of the parish community who are in need.  Through the use of gifts received through baptism and confirmation, they continue to answer servant call of Christ. Through affirmation and support of one another and a strong prayer base, volunteers are inspired in this special activity by the love of the Father, the example of Christ, and guidance from the Holy Spirit.
 
Care & Concern has provided services to the community since February of 2000.  This apostolate has been able to offer the following services through dedicated volunteers: participation in a prayer network; transportation; visitation of the sick, aging, and/or housebound; emergency food and home help; minor repairs or handy person’s services.  To continue, new volunteers are much needed and always welcome.  Parishioners like you, who share their gifts, build an apostolate of caring in our parish community.  Please consider becoming a Care & Concern volunteer.  There are no meetings to attend, only a willingness on your part to share your time and talents with others in need.

Men’s Fellowship

The purpose of the Men’s Fellowship apostolate is to bring men together and foster an increase in their faith through scripture, spiritual reading, prayer, and discussion; and to promote the love of Christ within themselves and others.  Its aim is to help men grow in holiness in everyday life and meet the challenges of being a Catholic man in today’s world.  Meetings take place in Cassidy Hall, which is located in the former St. Titus School, every Saturday after the 8:30AM Mass offered at St. Titus Church.

Parish Prayer Web

A dedicated group of parishioners pray specifically for those intentions identified on the Prayer Request List.  All parishioners are invited to join in this community prayer by remembering in your prayers those listed.

Prison Apostolate

The prison apostolate is under the direction of Deacon Joseph N. Basko. This is a volunteer-based apostolate that responds to the spiritual needs of those who are incarcerated in the Beaver County Jail System. It strives to provide spiritual support on a regular basis.

St. Anthony Congregation

Founded in 1932 at the former St. Joseph Church (West Aliquippa), the St. Anthony Congregation promotes the love of God, frequent reception of the sacraments, and loyalty to the Roman Catholic Church through devotion to St. Anthony of Padua.  Membership is open to all Catholics who are in union with the one, holy, catholic, and apostolic Church.

St. Vincent de Paul Society (SVdP)

Though a St. Vincent de Paul Society over the course of time was established originally at each church location within our parish, this entire group of dedicated people work together to assist those in need.  Collectively, these four societies share one phone contact number.  For those who need help or would like to refer others for assistance, please call the St. Vincent de Paul Help Line at 724.252.4631.
