Our parish Music Ministry serves to inspire and uplift the voices of the entire parish community so that filled with the Spirit we might "...address one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and playing to the Lord...". (Ephesians 5:19)
Faith grows when it is expressed well in celebration. The music in our parish strives to foster the art of sacred music grounded in the scriptures. Saint Augustine said, “to sing well is to pray twice” so let us raise our voices in song to praise our Lord. Those with special musical gifts are encouraged to share their talents in helping to lead our music. If you play an instrument or have a pleasant singing voice, please consider one of the musical opportunities listed below.

This choir is open to anyone high school age or older with a good singing voice who loves to sing. Reading music is helpful but not a requirement, as long as you have a good ear and are able to learn quickly. This volunteer group is comprised of members from both St. Frances Cabrini and Our Lady of Fatima Parishes. We rehearse on Thursdays from 7:00PM to 9:00PM and alternate singing between both Parishes on Sunday morning.
Our Handbell Choir members represent several parishes in our MACH 1 grouping. Music reading is a requirement for this group that rehearses at Our Lady of Fatima Parish on Wednesday evenings from 7:00PM to 9:00PM. We play for various Masses throughout the liturgical year and especially enjoy ringing for Christmas and Easter seasons.
The role of the cantor is to lead the sung prayer at our liturgies. Music reading is not a requirement however, it is a very helpful skill to possess. Cantors are scheduled to sing Masses at both Our Lady of Fatima and St. Frances Cabrini Parishes as needed.
Our parish Mercy Choir joins together to sing and raise our voices in prayer during funeral liturgies. We support those grieving members of our parish by providing consolation through music. The choir rehearses immediately before each funeral liturgy. Members are notified of each funeral by email or phone.
