Feel free to contact Youth Minister Rachael Kriger at rkriger@maryqueenofsaints.org for questions and/or to be added to the MQSP Youth Group's e-mail list. Please register your child below. Each student must have a registration form filled.
— 'Core' — is open to all high school students. (8th graders who have received the Sacrament of Confirmation are also welcome). Meetings are normally held at our MQSP Youth Center located on the grounds of St. Frances Cabrini Church.
During the school year, meetings occur every other Sunday from 6:30 to 8:00 PM. Summer meetings are scheduled sporadically and announced via the bulletin and the parish website as well as Flocknote, Facebook and Instagram. Note that the MQSP Youth Group schedule changes at times, and extra 'off-campus' events and service opportunities are added occasionally, so please remember to check this webpage regularly.

MQSP Youth Center
The MQSP Youth Center is a vital and uniting space for our parish community. The building is located on the grounds of St. Frances Cabrini Church, in what was a convent for the School Sisters of St. Francis who, in years past, served the former Parish of St. Frances Cabrini. After the completion of some repair and renovation work, the building was been assigned a new purpose.
The Youth Center of Mary, Queen of Saints Parish was opened on June 13, 2021. This space is not only used by our parish Youth Group; it is also where smaller meetings and events are held by various parish planners and organizations.
Our MQSP Youth Center is a truly welcoming place; it is not only one in which the opportunity to grow in knowledge, faith and grace is extended to all, it is one of the spaces of our parish where the future is envisioned and fostered. Welcome and God be with you.

All events are from 6:30-8 PM at the Youth Center, unless otherwise noted!- Sunday, June 4 — Kickball @ Hopewell Community Park!
- Friday, June 23 — Summer Bonfire w/ Games & Smores!
- Time change: 6-9 PM.
- Saturday, July 8 — Field trip to the Riverhounds vs. Sacramento Republic Match!

About MQSP Youth Group Director
On Feb. 27, 2023, Rachael Kriger joined Mary, Queen of Saints Parish after serving as a youth minister at Blessed Trinity Parish in Ocala, Florida, and St. Oscar Romero Parish in Canonsburg, Pa. She is a graduate of our parish’s Our Lady of Fatima School (Class of 2011) and has served as the OLF Varsity Girls Basketball coach for nine years, including the current 2022-23 school year.
After graduating from Hopewell High School in 2015, Rachael earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English, in the area of Journalism, from California University of Pennsylvania; and a Master of Arts in Media Communication from Point Park University. In March 2023, she graduated with an Master of Arts in Pastoral Theology from St. Joseph's College of Maine. Rachael's media experience includes both newspaper and online publications. She also contributes regularly as a sports writer for the Beaver County Times.
Rachael is looking forward to serving our parish and our mission to evangelize by using all her background skills and gifts as she jumps into both roles, the Youth Ministry Director and Communications Director.
Rachael lives in Hopewell with her parents, John and Rita Kriger, and is a proud aunt to her nieces, Mila and Nora. Her boyfriend, Luke, is a frequent supporter of OLF basketball and her ready 'assistant' in all things youth ministry. She and Luke are both involved in the MQSP Young Adult Group. Her home parish is Most Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish, where she primarily attends St. Catherine of Siena Church.
